Our Team

Our Art Expert: Karishma Wadhwa – the passionate artist and the compassionate teacher.

She believes: Art to me is not work, but my prayer and passion. Always inspired by nature and God's creations, I like to fill my life with colours. Teaching children at Miraaya, exercising in the open, running marathons, travelling and spending time with my family and friends defines my personality.

Our Dance expert: Rachita Umakanthan – the graceful ballerina with over nine years of experience.

She believes: Dance for me is like meditation. Being in the miraaya culture, miraaya studio, we don’t just learn but we grow in strength for the body, the mind and the soul.

Our Yoga expert: The one who represents yoga and meditation with her very being.

She believes: Yoga is a way of life. You do not just do yoga for an hour – but you live it in every moment of your day. Compassion, love, gratitude becomes the very nature of a true yoga teacher or student.

Our Team Head: Sonali Pradhan: The one who looks, acts, thinks, laughs like a Buddha.

She believes: Human beings always fascinated me... watching children play in a park, a family strolling into a store for grocery was like reading a book. Many a times it brought a smile to my face . Yoga, meditation attracted me from a very young age... When I came to Miraaya and met our co-founders I felt like I belonged here. Never felt like a first time.

Our WoW Teacher: Nisha Wadhwa: The one with a belly laugh, twinkling eyes and creative ideas.

She believes: I'm a teacher, who loves being surrounded by kids. My interests are craft, drama and cooking. Love being at miraaya and feel the culture of miraaya should be taken all across the world.
